"Merry Christmas, kids!" Mama and Daddy exclaimed as she woke her children up. It was Christmas morning and there were gifts to unwrap!
Joseph and Sarah jumped out of bed and hurried to the Christmas tree, eager to see what was inside their gifts. Taking turns, Joseph and Sarah opened all their presents. Joseph got a toy truck, a G.I Joe, Lincoln Logs, Legos, and play dough. Sarah got a Barbie doll, a dollhouse, some beads for making jewelry, and play dough as well. It was a wonderful Christmas morning.
However, that night as Mama and Daddy and Joseph and Sarah lay sleeping, something magical happened! At the stroke of midnight, all of Joseph and Sarah's new Christmas toys came to life! The truck was driving around, the G.I. Joe was making forts out of the Lincoln Logs and Legos, the Barbie doll was arranging furniture in the dollhouse, and the play dough, well, the play dough was in the corner moving a little bit.
